Jai Home Privacy Policy

Who we are

Jai Home is a household expense and budget app published by Jai Appz. For the current version, the developer does not operate a cloud ledger or user accounts.

Data we store

On your device only (unless you share a file yourself):

Amounts are stored as integer paise. We do not use advertising IDs.

Data we do not collect

Sharing

When you tap Share or Export CSV, you choose where the file goes (WhatsApp, Files, same Wi‑Fi, spreadsheet apps). That is user-initiated. The household package is encrypted; CSV is a spreadsheet dump. We do not upload your ledger to a Jai Appz server.

Permissions

Permission When
Camera Only when you scan a household join QR or Wi‑Fi share QR
Local / nearby network Only when you start same‑Wi‑Fi share
Internet / Wi‑Fi state For the system share sheet and LAN checks — not for a Jai Home API

We do not request camera or network access at first launch.

Deletion

In the app: More → Delete data on this phone removes the local database, keys, and related files on this device. Other family phones cannot be erased remotely. There is no web account to delete because there is no cloud account.

Children

Jai Home is not directed at children. It is a household finance tool.

Changes

If data practices change (for example SMS or cloud features), this policy and the Google Play Data Safety form will be updated before those features ship.
